To serve as a platform for enlightenment and empowerment of youth society for peace and development through active participation by mainstreaming their issues and concerns into the national development agenda based on United Nation Sustainable Development Goals.
This project is aimed to promote early recovery in three conflict-affected communities of (Damaturu, Potiskum, and Gujba LGAs). The project is aimed at mainstream conflict sensitivity throughout consortium activities and to conduct activities promoting social cohesion.
The project was carried out in three communities of Fika L.G.A namely; Fika town, Kukargadu and Gadaka. The project is assisting affected communities through social cohesion and recovery initiatives so as to foster and rebuild relationships across boards that can sustain peace and prevent the reoccurrence of violent conflict.
This project involves sensitization of women groups on SGBV prevention and response as well as build capacity for local actors in Potiskum L.G.A on how to respond to SGBV related issues through documentation and reporting as well as referral, linkages for effective utilization of available services.
