Support for Youth Empowerment and Reintegration, Community Reconciliation Initiative in Yobe State: This is eight (8) month’s project for the period of Sep 2018 to April 2019 with a budget of N15, 416, 520, funded by the European Union through the British Council under ‘’Managing Conflict in the North East‘’. The project is currently on-going in Geidam L.G.A Yobe State, with the aim to promote social cohesion and economic stability through apprenticeship and dialogue for sustainable peace in insurgency affected communities. The project has built the capacity of 100 community stakeholders in a series of dialogues on reconciliation and reintegration in an effort to enable them effectively manages conflict within their spares of influences. 100 youths are currently undergoing 4 months of skills acquisition training and will receive an economic empowerment package to start up a business on completion.
