Youth Peace Camp – Yobe 2016: This is an eight (8) Months project for 2016/2017 with a budget of N46, 583,500 funded by the USAID/OTI program known as North East Regional Initiative (NERI) implemented by Creative Associates International. The activity aimed at providing a platform for the positive engagement of youths in community development and promotes their active participation in the peace process. The activity has provided youth with broad exposure and experience using fun on various innovative and creative activities to inculcate the spirit of Nationalism, responsible citizenship, and social cohesion among youths. This has in turned increase zeal for unity and a sense of responsible citizenship among youth in building resilience and reducing vulnerability to violent extremism and terrorism. The activity has directly built the capacity of 200 youths and has provided them with basic business skills and economic empowerment package to help them build a livelihood.
